On Tuesday, Hankook Ilbo reported that tvNŌĆÖs drama Alchemy of Souls recently started filming part 2. According to a source, Alchemy of Souls, which was originally planned as a 20-part series, has already finished part 1 consisting of 10 episodes and begun filming part 2, which will also consist of 10 episodes. However, the premiere date for part 2 is still under discussion. Previously Director Park Joon Hwa explained his decision to split the show into two parts. ŌĆ£It was harder than I thought to unfold the story and all the relationships in a 20-part show. So we decided to (split the show into two parts) early on,ŌĆØ he commented. The cast will stay the same except for the female lead. Unlike part 1, in which Jung So Min played the lead role, Go Youn Jung will be leading part 2.
