Based on true events, the series follows a civilian businessman who becomes involved in the National Intelligence ServiceŌĆÖs covert operation to bring down a Korean drug lord operating in Suriname. Director┬ĀYoon Jong Bin recently shared the latest news of the heroic informant (hereinafter referred to as K) through a behind-the-scene clip uploaded on NetflixŌĆÖs official Youtube channel. In the 28-minute-long clip, the producer reveals the conversation he had with K. He said he asked K why he wanted to make this series and that K replied, ŌĆ£After all IŌĆÖve been through with the operation with the NIS, all I had left in my life was this story.ŌĆØ The director also talked about how K shared the story with co-workers, which nobody believed, and that there is a line similar to what he said in the final episode of the series. In the final episode of the series, Choi Chang Ho (played by Park Hae Soo)┬Āvisits Kang In Gu (Ha Jung Woo) after successfully arresting Jeon Yo Hwan (Hwang Jung Min) and offers him to take over two karaoke bars for free instead of granting him the cash he promised.

However, Kang In Gu turns down the offer and says, ŌĆ£How long do I have to keep my mouth shut about the NIS operation?ŌĆØ to which Choi Chang Ho replies, ŌĆ£You can tell the people around you, but the NIS wonŌĆÖt verify your words officially.ŌĆØ Kang continues, ŌĆ£This story is all IŌĆÖve got after everything I went through with the operation. When my kids grow up, I want to at least tell them that their dad took part in a NIS operation.ŌĆØ Director Yoon said that this line was the most memorable as it was what K actually told him.
