TXT held a showcase for their 4th mini-album minisode 2: ThursdayŌĆÖs Child on the 9th. ŌĆ£WeŌĆÖve been wanting to show an intense concept at least once,ŌĆØ the boys opened up. ŌĆ£I think the time has finally come. WeŌĆÖve found the new sides of ourselves, and we have certainly grown.ŌĆØ For this new album, TXT has borrowed the theme of ŌĆ£ThursdayŌĆÖs Child,ŌĆØ which is a part of Mother GooseŌĆÖs nursery rhymes. About the title track ŌĆ£Good Boy Gone Bad,ŌĆØ the members shared, ŌĆ£ItŌĆÖs a new kind of breakup song. ThereŌĆÖs anger and a sense of loss, but they turn into something very intense. Other breakup songs are either about missing the past love or feeling sad. But we went with a different approach.ŌĆØ They further explained, ŌĆ£If all five of us have drawn one big picture so far, this time, weŌĆÖre focusing on group dance. We wanted to go beyond the sadness of the breakup and deliver the intense anger and the complicated emotions. So we watched movies and dramas because the faces we make are so important.ŌĆØ As of the 10th (8AM KST), minisode 2: ThursdayŌĆÖs Child topped the iTunes Top Album in 43 countries, including the UK, Japan, and Brazil. ItŌĆÖs also ranked second in the US and Canada, proving the global interest in TXTŌĆÖs comeback.
